Change your JAMB-UTME Course/Institution

WARNING: Please read this entire document before proceeding. This process can only be done once and changes can never be undone.

My school cannot help you rectify errors and will not be liable for any errors made outside using our procedures for your JAMB change of course/institution as state below.

My school offers the full JAMB change of course/institution procedures and we cannot collect scratch cards you get outside to offer this service for you. If you follow our procedures as exactly stated below, be rest assured that your changes will be done exactly how you want it to be.

We have begun helping candidates to change their 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th choice courses or institutions. These changes are done by our staff, and our changes are done to reflect on the JAMB System immediately.

Reasons why you may want to change your Course or Institution

There are obviously three good reasons why a candidate may need to change his/her jamb choice of course or institution or both:

Case 1A. Due to Low UTME score:

After the release of Jamb results, the next thing to face is post-UTME and admissions. Now take for instance that someone applied for a federal university who will probably fix a cut-off mark of 200 and above; if such candidate scored less than 200, it simply means he/she has lost the admission. In this case the change of institution to a state-owned/private University becomes necessary. State universities generally fix cut-off marks below 200.

Case 1B. Due to Low UTME score:

Just like case 1A above, this happens when a candidate chose a very competitive course like Law, Medicine and Surgery, Pharmacy, Engineering, etc. Several courses have greater number of applicants than others and such courses invariably attract very high cut-off marks. To avoid being left aside a candidate is advised to go for change of course within the same institution/faculty.

Case 2. Incomplete O'level results

In this case candidates who may have ran into deficiency of required credit passes in some key/relevant subjects may decide to go for change of course to accommodate themselves.

Case 3. Mistakes during registration

Was there a mistake while filling your registration by either you or the business/cyber cafe? With this help, you can now correct any errors made during registration of your course or institution.

Case 4. Other causes

These includes several factors ranging from finance, change in Geographical locations, Parent's suggestions, Fear of Tribal differences, etc. Such cases treated under this heading result to change of institution.

How do I apply for change of Institution/Course?

My school educational services in her bid to maintain her status as Nigeria's number one education/students resource community hereby announce her willingness to assist candidates who may wish to change their courses or institution or both.

Please note that a school Staff usually CALLS to confirm your selection. So please provide a working phone number while applying.

Interested candidates are to follow the steps below:

1. Make a payment N4,000 (Four thousand Naira Only) using your JAMB Registration Number to replace your actual name on the bank teller into our official bank accounts listed below:

48 Nigerian Prisoners Pass O Level Examination While In Prison

According to the reports, 48 out of the 102 prisoners who took the exam, have passed the General Certificate of Examination which was taken in the end of 2013.
Emmanuel Bamidele, the Deputy Controller of Prisons, reported that the prisoners were successful in taking the exam in November/December 2013. This was stated to the Ikeja Branch of Nigerian Bar Association, the NBA, on Monday.
Moreover, Bamidele told to the NBA members that: “when they finally regain their freedom, they can seek admission into any university of their choice, since they are awaiting trial.” The NBA members came to prison to present the gifts they prepared for inmates as one of the activities planned in the Law Week 2014.
Bamidele noted about the prison programme ‘Rehabilitation, Restoration and Reintegration’, and that one of its aims was to provide all the prisoners the chance to get good education for them to be useful for society as soon as they leave the prison.
It was noted that there were 1761 people in prison, while only 186 were convicted and the rest have been waiting for the trial for 5-13 years.
Monday Ubani, the Chairman of NBA Ikeja, stated that he is assuring the inmates that the prisoners waiting for trial would be free soon as they promised that Justice Ayotunde Phillips, the Chief Judge of Lagos State would visit the prison in May to grant parole.
“NBA is in contact with the chief judge and the Ministry of Justice, and we know that names of those to be released are being compiled,” he said.
